Yeah Gotham Magazine is the truth! A magazine that features the lush, lively, luminous side of New York, its presented through Niche media, and for a self proclaimed magazine junkie the Niche titles are the best. Whenever I traveled to LA enjoyed LA Confidential, and I live for the Ocean Drive mags waiting in my hotel when I’m in Miami, and Hamptons Magazine gives me suburban water-life envy, with its display of comfort and beauty I enjoyed during my childhood. I even had my pretty little photo in there a while back after being invited to sing the National Anthem at a Bridgehampton polo match, my first. Honestly, I’m gonna read the Michigan Avenue article on Jennifer Hudson soon as I finish writing this blog! the Niche mags tend to focus on people, places, and thing in an intimate way that some of the glam mags miss out on. Just like my Mom, I love magazines, so to be asked again to work with Niche Media was a more than exciting. The evening of music and karaoke was presented by Gotham and Mark Baker: with Russian Standard Vodka at the flyest classiest Russian karaoke bar, Jelsomino. I brought out the reinforcements, to make it a truly entertaining night. myself along with some of the best entertainers in New York. Members of the cast of MOTOWN I invited two other female singers from the show but due to conflicts I ended up being the only girl on board along with wordsmith Daniel J. Watts, crooner Bryan Terell Clark, and soul-singer Ryan Shaw. Wonderful friends were there in support, and some sang a little karaoke too! It was a wonderful evening with a special thanks to Christie Correa, David Katz, and Joanna Tucker along with a fashionable outfit by Edwing D’angelo I was ready to sing!
